Caltrans Crews To Work Just One Stretch Of Highway During Holidays
Valley Springs, CA — Those heading out on the Mother Lode highways over the holidays will find travel a breeze with only one roadway targeted for work next week.
Crews will be conducting utility work on Highway 26 in Calaveras County from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday (Dec. 27) along Highway 26 at the intersection of Quail Oaks Drive near the La Contenta Golf Club in Valley Springs. Motorists can expect up to ten minute delays in that area as crews will be working on the ground and overhead with flaggers directing traffic.
Caltrans asks drivers to obey all signage, use caution and slow down where workers and equipment are in the cone zones.
