Sonora, CA — Several more cone zones are than earlier reported are in the works this week, according to Caltrans officials, who estimate that each will wreak ten-minute delays.
In Calaveras County along Highway 4, today only, utility work will stall traffic between Horseshoe Drive and Hunter Reservoir from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m.
On Highway 26, now through Saturday, tree crews are working a stretch between Highway 49/Mokelumne Hill and Flat Gulch Lane from 6 a.m. until 6 p.m.
On Highway 49/108, overnight utility work tonight between Smoke Street and Rawhide Road/Humburg Street will run from 8:30 p.m. until 6 a.m.
Among other added work zones along Highway 49/108: now through Friday, shoulder work between Highway 120/Chinese Camp and the Tuolumne/Calaveras county line from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.; Thursday and Friday, overnight utility work between the end of Main Street in Jamestown and Woods Creek from 8:30 p.m. until 6 a.m.
On Highway 108 now through Friday in the Mono Vista area, shoulder work along a nearly seven-mile section between the end of the highway and Hidden Acres Road will be going on from 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
