Caltrans Construction On HWY 108, HWY 4 And HWY 49
Summer roadwork continues on local Mother Lode highways this week.
On Highway 108 at Soulsbyvill Road up to Kennedy Meadows a moving closure of one of the lanes for striping will cause 10 minute delays. The work is scheduled Monday through Thursday from 8:30AM to 4PM.
Paving on Highway 108 and the 34 miles from near Oakdale to the Yosemite Junction and from the Hwy 49 Junction to Chinese Camp and to Moccasin will restrict traffic in areas as crews pave. Work will begin Sunday at 9PM and end at 6PM on Friday.
At the Pigeon Flat Rest Area one-way traffic control for drainage work will continue all week from 8AM to 3:30PM causing 10 minute delays.
Near Coulterville Highway 49 northbound and southbound remains closed from approximately 15 miles from Bear Valley to the junction with Hwy 132. Caltrans crews and construction partners are working to open on August 1, 2018. Detours for the area can add an additional hour of travel time.
As detailed here repair of Tuolumne County bridges is also underway in Groveland motorists can expect delays on Sprague Road East until July 9th. Work begins in Strawberry where motorists can expect delays on Clarks Fork Road beginning on July 10.
Roadwork In Calaveras
Monday through Friday On Highway 4 beginning at Upper Moran Road to the Big Trees Park entrance one-way traffic control for roadway excavation after previous drainage work. The work is scheduled from 6AM to 6PM on Monday through Friday.
Also in the Arnold area paving of Highway 4 from Dorrington Station to Cabbage Patch Log Road continues all week from 6AM to 6PM on Monday through Friday.
On Highway 4 from Hillcrest Drive to Hunter Reservoir drainage work will limit traffic to one-way causing 10 minutes delays. The work is scheduled for July 10 from 8AM to 3PM.
On Highway 4 below Murphys there will be one-way traffic control causing 10 minutes delays for paving work. The work is scheduled for Thursday, July 12, from 7:30AM to 3:30PM specifically in the area of Douglas Flat’s Main Street to Anrey Court. The entire week on HWY 4 from Vallecito Road to Six Mile Road one-way traffic control for shoulder work will cause 10 minutes delays as well.
On HWY 49 in Angels camp Tuesday and Wednesday from 7AM to 4PM from Rasberry Lane/Hardscabble Street to Lee Lane be aware of left and right shoulder work causing 10 minute delays. There will also be utility work at Stockton Road restricting traffic in some of the lanes throughout the week from 7AM to 5pm.
July 13, on Highway 4 from the Cherokee Creek West Bridge to the Angels Camp City expect 10 minute delays and one-way traffic control for shoulder work.
