Update: Road Work On Highway 108, 120 And 4

Summer roadwork continues on local Mother Lode highways this week.

Paving of 34 miles of Highway 108 from near Oakdale to Chinese Camp as well as from Chinese Camp to Moccasin is scheduled this week. The $20.3 million project is expected to finish in October 2018. Work this week will restrict traffic to one lane as crews pave and work on the shoulder causing 10-minute or more delays. Work in both areas begins Sunday evening at 7:00PM and will continue day and night until Friday when work will typically end at 3:00PM

Shoulder work beginning at Brightman Flat to Pigeon Flat Rest Area on Highway 108 will begin on Monday with one-way traffic control through Friday from 8AM to 3:00PM. The work may cause 10 minute delays.

On Highway 120 from Old Priest Grade Road to the Entrance to Tenaya School there will be one-way traffic control for grind and pavement work causing 10 minute delays. The work is scheduled all week from 7AM to 2PM.

Near Coulterville Highway 49 northbound and southbound remains closed from approximately 15 miles from Bear Valley to the junction with Hwy 132. Caltrans crews and construction partners are working to re-open by August 1, 2018. Detours for the area can add an additional hour of travel time.

Tuolumne: Motorists can expect delays on Yosemite Road until Monday, June 25.
Groveland: Motorists can expect delays on Sprague Road East between Monday, June 25 and July 9.
Strawberry: Motorists can expect delays on Clarks Fork Road beginning on July 10.

New Roadwork In Calaveras 

On Highway 4 beginning at Upper Moran Road to the Big Trees Park entrance one-way traffic control for drainage work will continue. The work is scheduled from 6AM to 6PM.

Two areas of tree work will close lanes and cause 10 minute delays on Highway 4, from Arnold Way to the West of Beatrice Drive and from Worman Road to Boyer Road.

Also in the Arnold area paving of Highway 4 from Dorrington Station to Cabbage Patch Log Road will continue from 6AM to 6PM.

On Highway 26 there will be one-way traffic control for utility work from Iris Way to the Mokelumne River Bridge. Delays of 10 minutesbetween 7AM and 5PM
