Jamestown, CA — Construction crews will be out on Saturday in the vicinity of the Quartz Stent Water Main extension project in Jamestown.
T.U.D. notes that the project hours are 7am-4pm, so those driving in the area of Jacksonville Road are advised to use extra caution and be prepared for potential delays. T.U.D. has hired Mozingo Construction of Jamestown to install the nearly 12,000 linear ft. of water main. It has the potential to connect over 100 properties. The project started in November and is expected to be completed by the beginning of May, pending no unforeseen delays. The district received $1.6 million in grant funding for the project from the Department of Water Resources and State Water Resources Control Board.
