Sonora, CA — At least three cone zones will be in place beginning Sunday as Caltrans gets a jump on the roadwork week ahead.
Come Sunday, bridgework is back in the overnights along Highway 108 at the Mono Way undercrossing. Through Friday morning motorists should anticipate ten-minute delays from 9 p.m. until 6 a.m. Every weekday plan for ten-minute waits for tree work on 108 between Soulsbyville Road and Strawberry East from 6 a.m. until 6 p.m. Five-minute delays are also possible every weekday between County and Mill Creek roads as crews work on drainage there between 8:15 a.m. and 3 p.m.
Ten-minute delays are in order at two spots along Highway 120 this week. Tree crews return to work daily between Old Priest Grade Road and the Yosemite National Park West Boundary entrance from 5:30 a.m. until 6 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, K-rails going in will delay traffic at the Tuolumne River Bridge from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m.; Thursday and Friday, striping operations are also scheduled there within the same time frame.
Along Highway 49 in Tuolumne County while drainage work is being done between Marsh Flat Road and Highway 132 motorists may experience brief setbacks from 6:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.
Overnight Paving And More In Calaveras
Beginning Sunday evening in Calaveras County, paving operations will generate ten-minute delays for motorists all week along from 7 p.m. until 6 a.m. through Friday morning on Highway 12 between Cedar Street and Highway 49; also on Highway 26 between Savage Way and Paloma Road.
Also expect similar delays every weekday on Highway 26 during construction between Quail Oaks Road and Gold Creek Drive from 8 a.m. and 3 p.m.
Along Highway 49, every weekday, expect ten-minute traffic interruptions between San Domingo and San Antonio creeks during shoulder repairs from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. Utility work continues daily, bringing momentary delays from Mountain Ranch Road and Main Street, San Andreas from 6 a.m. and 6 p.m.
Striping operations along Highway 49, Monday through Wednesday, focus from Center Street to the Calaveras/Amador line from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m., causing ten-minute travel impacts. Too, Tuesday and Wednesday, utility crews will focus between Highway 4 and Copello Drive, working from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m., creating the potential for ten-minute travel delays.
