Half inch hail and winds in excess of forty mph will be possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include Bear Valley, Calaveras Big Trees State Park, Lily Gap, Dorrington, Shriner lake Campground, Cooks Station, Tamarack, Black Springs and Arnold.

Showers and thunderstorms will continue at times through the evening in the Sierra Nevada and the Central Valley.

Remember when thunder roars, go indoors!

Boaters should also seek the safety of safe harbor when threatening weather approaches.
