Update: Sierra Nevada Winter Weather Advisory Issued
The Winter Weather Advisory issued for the Sierra Nevada above 4000 feet remains in effect until 5 pm Saturday.
According to the National Weather Service, two to eight inches of snow accumulation is expected.
Winds of fifteen to twenty-five mph are likely with gusts up to fifty mph.
A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of heavy snow will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered roads and limited visibilities and use caution while driving.
