Sonora, CA — Several proposed transit projects will be the focus of a transportation meeting in Tuolumne County.
Up for discussion will be whether to incorporate the planned Northern Yosemite Regional Transit Access Center into the Regional Transportation Plan, and Short Range Transit Plan. As reported previously, the facility would serve as a hub for transportation services in downtown Sonora.
The group will also talk about the idea utilizing $253,071 in Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality Funds towards Park and Ride facilities that would benefit transit users. Sites are being looked at in both Sonora and Jamestown.
Today’s Tuolumne County Transportation Council Technical Advisory/ Citizen’s Advisory Committee meeting is scheduled for 3pm in the Community Resources Agency Conference Room at 48 West Yaney Avenue.
