Sonora, CA — Caltrans has announced some additional work this week on Highway 49, and it is impacting traffic flow.
A crew is out cutting and pruning trees along the highway, from North San Antonio Creek, to Magers Way. It is near the community of San Andreas. Expect 5-10 minute traffic delays, from 8:30am – 3pm, through Wednesday. The tree work is in addition to other construction announced earlier by Caltrans. There are crews stationed on Highway 49 in south Tuolumne County, Highway 49 near Angels Camp, and Highway 4 near Murphys. Click here to read the earlier story detailing the work.
