Chinese Camp, CA – An additional 40 PG&E customers are without power this morning bringing the total in the Tuolumne County area to just over 270.
PG&E has added those customers to an existing overnight outage, which began at around 6:30 p.m. Friday night. Company officials say a downed power line in the Chinese Camp area along Highways 120 and 49 is to blame. PG&E report crews are on-site working to restore power. The estimated time of repair is 10 a.m. Already customers have been without electricity for nearly 15 hours.
Additionally, the lights went out just before 7 a.m. for 114 customers in the Tuttletown area. PG&E reports crews are on scene assessing the outage. There is no estimated time of repair.
