Arnold, CA — Firefighters are on the scene of 1/4 acre vegetation fire in Calaveras County.
Cal Fire reports the flames broke out on the Sequoia Woods Country Club and Golf Course near the sixth tee behind a maintenance shack off Rainy Drive. The rate of spread is high due to winds in the area, according to Cal Fire. There is concern that the fire could jump to a nearby meadow. There is no word on whether any structures other than the shack are threatened at this time. We will bring you more details as soon as they come in to the news center.
