This week, with no rain in the forecast and projected warmer-than-normal temperatures, Caltrans plans to have crews working along several major Mother Lode highways.
Along Hwy 108, in Tuolumne County, crack seal operations are planned Tuesday through Friday between Hidden Acres Road to east of County Dump Road, with delays of up to five minutes from 8:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.
On Hwy 120, maintenance work is planned between west of Big Oak and Ferndale roads, with one way traffic control Tuesday through Thursday from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m., and delays of up to ten minutes. Maintenance crews will also be working daily during the same times through Friday between Memorial Drive and Groveland Creek Bridge, where motorists may expect to experience similar delays. Tree work, scheduled along Hwy 120 Tuesday through Friday between Big Oak Sidehill and Golden Arrow Road will run from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m., again, with one-way controlled traffic and potential delays of up to ten minutes.
Crack seal work on Hwy 49 between the Tuolumne-Calaveras County Line and Ramorini Road planned to run Tuesday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. will have one-way traffic control in place with delays of up to ten minutes at times. In Tuolumne County, due to tree work on Hwy 108, between Von Kleiben and Shaws Flat roads motorists should expect one-way traffic control and delays of up to five minutes, Tuesday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.
Along Hwy 4 in Calaveras County, utility work planned Thursday, Jan. 22 east of Deer Creek Road to Foundry Lane will require intermittent full highway closures of up to five minutes from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
