Tuolumne City, CA — Cal Fire reports firefighters were able to knock down a flue fire minutes after arriving on the scene in Tuolumne City.
Crews responded to the report of a residential structure fire at 4:39 p.m. on the 18300 block of Bay Avenue near Pine Street. Cal Fire spokesperson Lisa Williams says, “When resources arrived on the scene there was fire in the chimney area. Upon investigation, the fire was contained to the flue area and did not spread to other areas of the home.”
There is no estimate of damage to the home.
