PG& E has reported power outages all over the Mother Lode. Most started this afternoon as the winds picked up across the region.
In Sonora, 49 customers have been in the dark since 3:18 p.m. after the power pole was found broken with power lines down on Burl Court near Cedar Road. As reported earlier, a small spot fire was quickly put out in the area by firefighters. The outage runs along Chaparral Road up to Coyote Circle. The estimated time of repair is midnight tonight.
Current outages in Calaveras County include about 500 customers. Of these, approximately 280 residents are without power in Arnold. Another downed power line we reported on earlier has 48 people in Rail Road Flat without electricity. In Angels Camp, off Pool Station along Riata Way and surrounding roads 74 customers remain in the dark. There are 22 outages in San Andreas, south of Mountain Ranch Road. In Valley Springs, nearly 160 customers have been without power since 4:30 p.m. in the Camache Parkway area.
PG&E reports crews are working on repairs in all these sites and will continue until power is restored to all customers.
