Driver Named In Solo Crash
Knights Ferry, CA – The CHP has released the name of a Manteca woman involved in a solo rollover crash east of Knights Ferry.
The accident happened around 7 a.m. on Highway 108/120 west of Green Springs Road. The CHP reports 51-year-old Priscilla Douglas was driving a 2005 Toyota Scion eastbound on the Highway when she lost control on a curve.
“She was basically traveling an unsafe speed for the wet roadways,” says Officer Nick Norton. “She failed to negotiate a 40 mph curve, lost control of the vehicle, and collided with an embankment. The vehicle rolled over on its roof on the right shoulder of eastbound lanes.”
Douglas suffered minor injuries, complained of pain, and had a cut to the back of her head. She was taken by ambulance to Sonora Regional Medical Center. Norton says drugs or alcohol are not a factor in the crash.
