Mariposa County, CA — The fire burning on the Stanislaus National Forest has increase from 50 acres to 75 – 100 acres and there is no containment. Forest Officials have titled the blaze the “Montgomery Fire”.
The flames broke out in the Texas Hill area near Ponderosa Way, which is east of Coulterville in Mariposa County. Crews continue to battle the blaze from the ground and air. Forest Officials say there is no immediate threat to any structures. We will bring you more information as soon as it is available.
