Tuolumne County, CA — Motorists will see stop and go traffic in several spots of Tuolumne County next week. Caltrans crews will be doing fog sealing on Highway 108 between Closure Gate #1 (past Cow Creek Road) to Brightman Flat, (before Eagle Meadows Road). The work will begin Monday at 7am and run through Wednesday at 3:30pm. Highway 108 will be down to one lane of traffic in that section.
There will also be one-way traffic control on the highway from Eagle Creek Bridge to Kennedy Meadows Road beginning Thursday, August 22 from 7:00 am until 3:30 pm. Both road work areas could cause 20 minute delays for motorists.
Crews will also be doing fog sealing on Highway 120. The highway will down to one lane of traffic from the Stanislaus/Tuolumne County line to Brenna Avenue near Chinese Camp. Road work will begin on Wednesday, August 21 through Thursday, August 22 from 8:30 am until 2:00 pm.
Motorists should expect 15 minute delays in this stretch. Caltrans urges motorists to take alternative routes whenever possible.
