Music, dancing, car shows, and more are planned in the Mother Lode this weekend.
The Bear Valley Music Festival continues Saturday, July 27, with an American Western Swing Band, nine-time Grammy winner, Asleep at the Wheel. For details about the concert and other Bear Valley Concerts view the event listing.

The 13th Annual Mother Lode VW Show and Swap Meet will be held at Utica Park in Angels Camp on Saturday. The family event is free, there is no preregistration to show a Volkswagen, or charge to swap meet buyers. Show cars will be parked on the grass in the park. Twain Harte Chamber of Commerce’s Wines in The Pines begins at noon at the Meadow Plaza. The event is three hours on the afternoons of Saturday and Sunday.
