Last fridays homecoming will reign as the most memorable of MY life. Got to the game right about the start of the second quarter and found seats. I realized my dogs had been locked up long enough they would need a potty break before the game was over so I ran up the street (in my car) and returned to rejoin my family. As I walked to the seats at the bottom of the bleachers I had a police offficer walk behind me and tell me to go back the direction I had just come from.
When we reached the bottom of the stairs he asked me to face the building with my hands behind me and proceeded to hand cuff me under public intoxication suspiscion. As he was preparing to place the cuffs on I explained that I was walking the way I was BECAUSE I HAVE M.S. and have not had more than maybe two drinks in the past six years, none of those that evening.
They detained me until they were able to run a warrant check and finally with my hands starting to numb because of their positioning I was released. At that point after my wife and children being subjected to such a show it was time to go home. As a graduate of Sonora High School I will always support the Wildcats.
These days it seems it will only be from a distance though.
