A snow advisory is in effect in the Motherlode through this evening. Be ready for some snowfall as low as 2-thousand feet. Forecasters say we´ll get about 2 to 4 inches accumulation between 2 and 3-thousand feet, and about 8 inches in the higher elevations. If you´re heading up the mountain, make sure you have chains, and a winter emergency kit.
The system should start to move out by this evening.
