Starting this morning, travelers passing through Los Angeles International Airport can once again be picked up and dropped off at the curb in the terminal area.
Mayor Hahn announced the change to the airport´s security earlier this week.
He expressed confidence that police, LAX and federal officials have made enough progress to keep the airfield secure.
However, the mayor warned that the ban on unattended vehicles at curbside will be strictly enforced.
Violators will face stiff penalties, including towing and fines that could reach thousands of dollars.
