Armed robbers tied up a guard at a shipping yard near Los Angeles harbor early today, and opened a few ship containers. One of the containers contained computer equipment, but it was not immediately known if anything was taken.
The guard as accosted by at least two robbers wearing ski masks about 2 am. Los Angeles Police Sergeant Mark Jauregui says the security guard managed to free himself from his bonds after about one and a half hours and called police.
Police searched the yard in Wilmington with K-9 units but came up empty-handed.
