A Pacific Gas and Electric spokesman says 350 customers in Sonoma County are without power this morning. Repair crews are restringing two utility poles that were damaged in a car accident last night.
The California Highway Patrol says a 40-year-old Santa Rosa woman drove a minivan into a utility pole. She´s hospitalized with moderate injuries.
The crash also caused damage to a second pole, which broke off at the top.
The accident caused a major power outage in Sonoma County, initially affecting nearly 11 thousand customers between Santa Rosa and Windsor.
