Last South Vietnamese Leader Buried

General Duong Van Minh the last president of South Vietnam was buried today in the Los Angeles suburb
of Whittier.

About 500 people, including family members and former South Vietnamese Army officers, attended the Buddhist ceremony at Rose Hills
Memorial Park.

Minh was 86 when he died August sixth at a Pasadena hospital, a day after he fell from his wheelchair at his home.

He
became South Vietnam´s president in April 1975 as the country crumbled under North Vietnam´s Communist forces.
