Heat Could Mean Power Alerts

California´s Independent Systems Operator is urging extra conservation as the temperatures increase today
and tomorrow.

The ISO is predicting peak demand between 4 and 5 this afternoon, and the supplies may get low enough for some alerts. Rolling
blackouts have not been necessary in recent weeks because of unseasonably cool weather, but high temperatures are expected here and in the rest of the
country. That could mean a high demand, and less available power for California than we normally see. Have your most recent electric bill handy so you´ll know
which block you´re in, should deliberate outages become necessary.
