Feds Concerned about Power Crunch

Energy Secretary Spencer Abraham has a round of meetings in California today as he looks for ways the
federal government can help save power in the state.

President Bush ordered conservation steps yesterday that include turning down air conditioning
and turning off lights at federal office buildings.

The president says he´s deeply concerned about California´s power crunch with the prospect of rolling
blackouts throughout the summer.
