A downed power line touched off a grass fire that kept firefighters busy in the Burson area of Calaveras
County for about an hour and a half today.
Crews were called out to South Burson Road just after 3 o´clock and discovered the blaze, which grew to
seven acres before crews got it corraled.
No one was hurt and no structures damaged. Investigators say a vehicle hit a power pole, knocking it down,
and a loose wire touched off the blaze.
