Nuclear Plant Back Up

The Unit Three reactor at the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station is back on line four months after a
fire forced it to shut down.

The reactor was fired to about 18 percent capacity yesterday, which is not enough to send electricity to the state´s power
grid.

Plant spokesman Ray Golden says the reactor could be at full power by Sunday if there are no delays.

Unit Three generates enough
electricity to supply about one million households.
