The family of a pregnant Modesto woman who disappeared on Christmas Eve is pleading with the public to keep their eyes open.
Laci Denise Peterson disappeared while walking her dog in a neighborhood park. Her husband reported her missing when he came home from fishing.
The 27-year-old woman´s mother and brother appeared today on ABC TV´s Good Morning America to plead for Laci´s safety and ask the public to watch for her.
Brent Rocha says anyone holding his sister should have some compassion because she is pregnant.
Modesto Police Chief Roy Wasden also appeared on the program. He says police need help to find the eight-months-pregnant woman.
Wasden says police are looking into registered sex offenders and talking to the homeless population in the park.
The family is offering a $125,000 reward for her safe return.
