Cisco´s Finance Director Sentenced
A former Cisco Systems executive who pleaded guilty last summer to defrauding the company and engaging in insider trading has been sentenced to six years in prison.
Robert Gordon of Palo Alto was Cisco´s director of corporate finance and business development. He pleaded guilty in July to two counts of wire fraud and one count of insider trading.
Gordon was sentenced yesterday. He had faced a maximum 25 years in prison.
