Smoke is still coming into the Mother Lode region from a summer-long prescribed burn in Yosemite National Park.
Park spokesman Scott Gediman says the Gin Flat Burn has treated 3,225-acres so far. Fire ground crews and a helicopter continue to monitor the blaze.
The park had planned to burn more than 7,000-acres this summer. The fire will continue to burn until the first winter rain or snow.
