A fire that destroyed dozens of cabins in the Angeles National Forest is more than half surrounded this morning. The week-old blaze is 52 percent contained and is moving away from populated areas. Candles used in an animal sacrifice ritual are blamed for igniting the fire, which has charred more than 18-thousand-700 acres. Two thousand firefighters are on the line. The blaze 30 miles east of Los Angeles has cost five million dollars to fight.
