Sonora´s Neil Parry won´t have to abandon his dreams of returning to college football after all.
Earlier this week, the former Sonora High School football player, now a junior at San Jose State, was told that the NCAA´s insurance policy wouldn´t cover his return to football two years after he lost part of his right leg as a result of a football injury.
But earlier today, the insurance company responsible for the policy notified San Jose State that it will continue to cover Parry´s prosthetic leg even if he plays for the Spartans this fall.
Parry says he´s overjoyed at the news. He hopes to play perhaps as soon as the Spartans´ home opener on September 28th.
