There was reportedly no DNA found on Chandra Levy´s clothing, which diminishes the possibility that forensic evidence from the scene will help solve the case. The Washington Post reports the conclusion comes from an FBI analysis, although the chances of finding clues in the clothing were always considered remote. DC Police Chief Charles Ramsey says he can´t confirm the story. He tells a Washington television station it´s against department policy to talk about the details of an ongoing investigation. Ramsey does say detectives continue to work the Levy case and he´s optimistic it will be solved. The former federal intern´s remains were found in Washington´s Rock Creek Park in May, about a year after she disappeared. The city´s medical examiner has ruled the Modesto woman´s death a homicide but hasn´t determined a cause.
