A judge is expected to finalize jury instructions today in the trial of the man accused of kidnapping and killing seven-year-old Danielle van Dam. Prosecutors and the attorneys for David Westerfield will be in the courtroom but there is no testimony scheduled. The defense could call a forensic anthropologist as its final witness tomorrow and the case could get to the jury by the end of the week. The 50-year-old Westerfield is charged with kidnapping, murder and possession of child pornography. He could get the death penalty if convicted.
