Folks Bare It All On Fourth
The Northwest Nudist Association celebrated its freedom this Fourth of July with a 15-minute parade through a park owned by The Willamettans, a nudist club. The parade, about 12 miles northeast of Eugene, also marked the anniversary of the Northwest´s first nudist convention, held July Fourth, 1946, in Yelm, Washington.
Nudists from across the region began pouring into camp Wednesday for this year´s convention that goes through Sunday. All events are clothing optional, but swimsuits are not allowed in the pool or hot tub.
