Two Hour Delay At SJA

Several flights were delayed for more than two hours at San Jose Airport after Terminal A was evacuated because a passenger set off an alarm at a security check point. Airport spokeswoman Noelle Knell says the evacuation was ordered at about 8:30 last night when the passenger was allowed to go on without being checked further. She says officers from the Transportation Security Agency asked that passengers from six flights be re-screened. Knell says the Transportation Security Agency found it was a false alarm and allowed passengers to re-board their planes at about 10:30.
