Reza Pleads Innocent To Weapons Charges, Threats
An Orange County judge has granted bail today to a fired nuclear power plant worker accused of threatening his former co-workers. Judge Carlton Biggs set bail for David Reza at 100 thousand dollars. The 44 year old mechanic was arrested last week after authorities found a cache of weapons at his Laguna Niguel home and a nearby storage unit.
Reza has maintained the weapons are antiques he has been collecting since he was a child and was not planning to use them against he former co-workers at the San Onofre Nuclear Power Plant.
Among the 300 weapons seized were a hand-held rocket launcher, numerous assault rifles and four inert hand grenades. During the hearing, Reza pleaded innocent to all charges.
