Sara Jane Olson has begun serving time for plotting to bomb Los Angeles police cars, and has been transferred to Sacramento on murder and robbery charges.
The ex-radical was sentenced in LA yesterday to two consecutive ten-year-to-life terms.
Immediately afterward, she was arraigned on the other charges, stemming from a 1975 Sacramento-area bank robbery in which a customer was killed. Olson pleaded innocent.
Among the four other ex-members of the Symbionese Liberation Army charged are Bill and Emily Harris. They entered no plea at their arraignment.
Another defendant, Michael Bortin, says he´ll fight extradition from Oregon.
The fifth person charged, James Kilgore, remains a fugitive.
Defense attorney Shawn Chapman says Olson can offer no help to prosecutors because she was “never admitted to the inner circle of the SLA.”
