Four days after she was sentenced to 20 years to life in prison for attempting to blow up Los Angeles police cars, Sara Jane Olson returned to court in Sacramento to face an even more serious charge of murder. Olson is charged with other alleged members of the Symbionese Liberation Army with killing Myrna Opsahl, a 42 year old mother of four, during a 1975 bank robbery.
Olson plead innocent to the 26 year old shotgun slaying Friday during her sentencing in a Los Angeles courtroom on the attempting bombing conviction.
Her attorney repeated Olson´s innocent plea during her first Sacramento County Superior Court appearance Tuesday. Olson returns to court February 1st for a bail hearing.
