CA Marines Are Identitifed

The two Marines killed in a helicopter crash in mountains of southeastern California have been identified as from Camp Pendleton. The Marine Corps said the pilot was Captain

Theodore Treadwell of Phoenix, and the other Marine killed was Staff Sergeant Roderick Nesmith, from Colorado.

Two other Camp Pendleton Marines were injured in the crash late Thursday night in the Chocolate Mountains during a training exercise. They are being treated at a hospital in Arizona. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
