Modesto Girl Shot With Pellet Gun
A four-year-old Modesto girl is O-K after being accidentally shot with a pellet rifle by her nine-year-old brother.
Stanislaus County sheriff´s deputies say the boy found the gun behind a living room door. The childrens´ father, who says he keeps the rifle to shoot rats, was outside. The girl was treated and released for a pellet lodged in her shoulder. Sheriff´s officials say the father will not face charges because a pellet rife is not considered a firearm.
