Bradbury Gets Star
The Hollywood Walk of Fame is going sci-fi. Legendary science fiction writer Ray Bradbury will receive a star on the Walk of Fame Monday.
The 81-year-old writer of such novels as “Fahrenheit 451´´ and “The Martian Chronicles´´ has lived in Los Angeles since he was a teen.
L-A Mayor James Hahn and actor Charlton Heston are expected to the attend the ceremony, which will also be the start of the city´s month-long reading campaign.
