Navy officials have identified the two men killed in an air show crash at the Point Mugu Naval Air Weapons station yesterday.
Navy Commander Michael Norman and Marine Corps Captain Andrew Muhs died when their Q-F-Four Phantom jet crashed. Officials did not release their ages or hometowns.
Eyewitnesses say one of the men ejected from the jet as it flew less than 200 feet above the ground. The jet burst into flames when it hit the ground on the west side of the base. The jet and its crew had been taking part in the 38th Point Mugu Airshow.
