Six Mile Road Crash Injures Three

Three people were hurt in a head-on collision on Six Mile Road east of Highway 4 Friday afternoon.

The California Highway Patrol reported 18 year-old Jeanne Martz of Angels Camp was rounding a curve on the wrong side of Six-Mile Road in her 1973 Pontiac Bonneville and collided with a GMC pick-up truck driven by 18 year-old Richard Theis of Arnold.

Passengers 15-year-old Jacob Frey of Murphys, 18-year-old Cheryl Reynolds and 21 year-old Christopher Carney both of Angels Camp were injured in the crash. Reynolds and Frey were transported to Mark Twain Hospital for treatment.
