Explosive Auction Item Lands Man In Jail
A San Jose man will be spending the next 10 months in a federal prison for selling explosives on Internet auction site E-Bay.
The U.S. Attorney´s Office says Roger Ver pleaded guilty to dealing in explosives without a license, illegally storing explosives and mailing dangerous articles.
Prosecutors say Ver bought almost 50 pounds of explosives from a supplier in South Carolina and sold at least 14 pounds of it to bidders on eBay. The explosives were listed as pest control devices.
