A kayaker was rescued this afternoon from a remote section of the Clavey River in Tuolumne County.
Tuolumne County Sheriffs deputies and the Search and Rescue pulled the victim from the area about two-miles above the confluence of the Tuolumne and Clavey rivers in a rugged area of the county.
There are still few details at this time, but one person was pulled from the Clavey River about 2:30 Monday afternoon. They have been transported by ambulance to Columbia Airport to be Medi-Flighted to a Modesto Hosptial.
The victim is reported in stable condition with hypothermia and a broken leg.
No name on the injured kayaker, or where he is from.
Bad weather hampered rescue efforts.
