A North Sacramento woman is suing the city of Sacramento, accusing police officer Darryl Rosen of assault during a drug search of her apartment last May. Brandy Bowden accused 26-year-old Rosen this week of assaulting her while she was handcuffed. Rosen has already been charged with sexual assault on five other women and a 16-year-old girl. Bowden also named officers Pedro Marquez, Jason Warren and Christopher Shippen as co-defendants, saying they were with Rosen during the search. Bowden´s claim was filed outside the 180-day limit for filing actions against the city. It seeks $1 million in damages.
