Some high-tech police work in Modesto nabbed a pair of car thieves in short order this week. Detectives in that city say a so-called “LoJack” tracking device led them to a stolen Toyota within 40 minutes of the crime.
The car was taken from the victim´s driveway, and located in the parking lot of a Wendy´s restaurant on McHenry Avenue. 37 year old Gabriel De Herrera and 24 year old Casandra Pitts are jailed under 10-thousand dollars bail each.
